MHUUC Dialogue on Egypt’s Water Sector:
Future and National Strategic Priorities

Session Description & Scope:

MHUCC has the lead in coordinating the measures for Egypt to achieve its Strategic National Priorities in the water and wastewater sector. This includes desalination, wastewater reuse and infrastructure development. Some of the key issues arising are surrounding financing frameworks and PPP for projects in the sector. Areas of particular concern are:

• Integration of Smart City Solutions and Digital

• Technologies in Water Management

• Long-Term Planning for Water Security

• Sustainable Resource Management, and Urban Development
