Founded as Egypt Water, Waste & Infrastructure (EWWI), the first editon supported measures to boost the development of Egypt’s water economy and sustainable growth. With the focus on the private sector as key partner in this context, EWWI aimed to close the gap by offering a direct platform for doing business in Egypt in the promising sectors of water, waste & infrastructure by assisting companies to tap in this huge market potential and to accelerate their decision.
The highlight of the fair was the state-of-art conference with the common theme “Empowering Innovations -Key Take Aways of COP27 Translated into Local Agenda” with the focus on private sector as a fast-track solution and key to success.

2nd Edition
In 2023 EWWI welcomed the Egyptian Holding Company for Water and Wastewater as partner and together, the trade fair followed the motto "The Blue Economy Round”. EWWI quickly became the vital platform for exchanging experiences and presenting the latest innovative technologies for drinking water & wastewater treatment, sludge & waste recycling, clean energy, and water desalination.

3rd Edition
The trade show was rebranded as IWWI - International Water Waste Infrastructure for its 3rd edition in 2024. Establishing the motto “Waters for Tomorrow”, IWWI recognized Egypt’s strategic role as a gateway to Africa and the MENA region. With a growing number of exhibitors and visitors, IWWI has become the pivotal platform for environmental technologies in Egypt.
23-25 November 2025
4th Edition
IWWI in 2025 continued its development as the primary forum for professionals from the water, waste and infrastructure sectors in Egypt. With a three-day program full of presentations, discussions, live-demos and B2B meetings, the participants furthered the investments in and the commitment to the Egyptian market.
