German Solutions for a Circular Water Economy

Session Description & Scope:

The first part will bring together Egyptian and German experts from the water sector, including representatives of utilities, public authorities, industry and technology providers. The discussion will focus on the practical conditions for scaling wastewater reuse and resource recovery in Egypt, addressing technical, operational, economic and regulatory perspectives.

The panel will explore how wastewater can be transformed from a treatment challenge into a reliable resource for different applications, including industrial processes, agriculture and municipal water management. It will also consider how German engineering expertise and Egyptian market knowledge can complement each other in developing practical and scalable solutions.
